Stuff from my sketchbook

Life drawings of waiters/waitresses/chefs at Earl's Restaurant when I went out for dinner with my parents and grandfather.
A sketch I did on the plane coming home after CSSSA.

A drawing I started at Inspirational Teen Summit at CSSSA and finished at a layover in the San Fran airport.

Post-CSSSA and other stuff.

Well, CSSSA was pretty much the most amazing experience of my life.

I loved every bit, every minute of it. I met some of the most amazing people, learned fom really awesome teachers, and have become so productive with my artwork. My work has gotten so much better than before CSSSA. I can't wait to upload some of the newer stuff I've been working on, as soon as I get my camera charged. I really miss my roommates and friends.
I'm thinking about going back next year, too.

Since I have been home from CSSSA I have started a new trend of being most artistically productive between the hours of 12 and 4 in the morning, and then sleeping late and repeating this cycle. Also I've been baking a lot of stuff for reasons unknown. I think it's just because I don't know what else to do to occupy my time.

Going back to school is almost a good thing so I won't feel so unproductive.

I reeeally miss the California weather. Back home in Canada it's been rainy and mild.

I think I'll use this as my gallery piece at CSSSA. It's a drawing I did the other day. It's actually pretty big, I think. Colors look better in person.

Wall-E, CSSSA, and sturf

Weeell, I've seen Wall-E twice now in theatres. It's brilliant. I love it. For a movie with not that much dialogue, it really held the audience's attention where a lot of directors would fail at that. Wall-E is such an adorable character =D Makes me happy inside.

I'm leaving for CSSSA in two days...I've been thinking about going for sooo long. Since...February? January? And now its TWO DAYS AWAY. I'm nervous. And excited. And pressed for time, since I'll be honest, I haven't started packing yet. But I have all my stuff. I'm stoked. Can't wait to improve and just be at Calarts a.k.a. the school I really want to go to.

Well, I have nothing else exciting to say, unfortunately.
