Earth Day

The art majors at my school had a show for earth day at the mall nearby. The last two pictures are the pieces that I had in the show. The arch shaped pieces were inspired by Anselm Kiefer, a German artist. The last piece was a still life painting of a pile of junk. Both pieces had to relate to the environment. My arch-shaped piece was based on habitat destruction, and all of the oil paintings were based off of landfill.

Nice work Taylor! The last piece looks really nice and realistic, especially the lamp! The first one looks very interesting. I didn't know you did that kind of art too! Truly awesome!
